The mini-games
The games are deliberately not the core of the app but what waits at the end of the tasks. That is why control over when and how much gets played sits entirely with you.
The two games
A jump-and-run in which the kid's avatar runs through levels with obstacles, power-ups and abilities. The character is exactly the one the kid put together in the customizer — the reason cosmetics are worth anything at all.
A match-3 puzzle with round goals: a certain score or objective per round, plus combos and boosters.
Both are playable for free. Premium unlocks all levels; the games can also be bought individually.
Who may play, and when
Access runs through three knobs in the game settings in the parent area:
Play window. From when to when playing is allowed. Outside it the kid sees "not allowed right now 🕐" — no negotiating, no argument about whether 9pm still counts.
Games per week. How many rounds there are. The kid sees the count ("2 of 5 games left this week") and knows the next chance comes next week.
Unlimited play per profile. Can be switched on for individual kids — those profiles use no play credits. Handy for older siblings on different rules.
Splitting it per profile is the point: a twelve-year-old and a six-year-old do not need the same limit, and you should not have to agree on a compromise that is wrong for both.
Magic coins from games
Reaching a round goal earns magic coins ✨ — the currency for avatar cosmetics. Two limits are built in:
- No goal, no coins. Clicking around does not pay.
- A weekly cap on how many magic coins can come from games in total.
Real rewards from your shop cannot be bought with magic coins. So the games cannot shortcut the way to the cinema trip — more on that in Avatar, coins and levels.
In-game settings
Kids can adjust per device: sound, music, haptics, ongoing tips (short hints about power-ups and combos) and first-time tips (the explanation on the first run). Plus graphics quality, which matches the device automatically by default.
These apply to that device only — quality can sit lower on the old wall tablet than on the new phone.
If the games do not fit
Not every family wants mini-games, and that is accounted for. Set the weekly limit to zero or the window so it never applies — tasks, coins, rewards, avatar and statistics all keep working. The games are an offer, not a component of the system.

Can kids play without limits?
Only if you allow it. By default there is a weekly limit on games; per profile you can switch on unlimited play — those profiles then use no play credits.
Can the games be turned off entirely?
Yes. In the game settings you can set the window or the limit so that no play happens at all. PiggyTask works fully without them.
What does playing give apart from fun?
Magic coins ✨ for avatar cosmetics — only when the round goal is reached, and capped by a weekly limit. Real rewards from your shop cannot be bought with them.
