Avatar, coins and levels

For kids the avatar is the actual reason to open the task list. Behind it sit two separate currencies and a level system — the separation matters, because it stops cosmetics from eating the real rewards.

Two currencies, separate on purpose

Coins 🪙 are earned for completed tasks. Kids spend them in the shop on the rewards you defined — screen time, a trip out, a pocket money bonus.

Magic coins ✨ are only for avatar cosmetics. Kids earn them for completed mandatory tasks — a small counter runs in the dashboard ("2 more tasks until the next magic coin") — and from the mini-games.

The separation is the point: without it, every avatar hat would compete directly with the trip to the cinema, and cosmetics would win because they are available immediately. This way both motivations run side by side.

Normal coins can also be exchanged for magic coins in the shop. You set the rate in the settings — it is the lever that balances the two worlds.

XP, levels and titles

Separately from coins, every kid collects XP and climbs levels. XP cannot be spent — it shows what has been achieved overall, and a level-up gets its own celebration.

Titles hang off the level: kids tap their name in the dashboard, see every title they have unlocked and pick the one they like. Frames for the profile picture come on top.

Titles are the quietest but often most effective reward in the whole system — they cost nothing, cannot be bought and show what the kid actually did.

The avatar

Every kid has their own avatar. The customizer has three areas:

If you would rather not browse every category, there is step by step: a guided run through the main decisions. Or random — one tap, done. With younger kids the random button tends to be the most-used feature in the app.

The avatar is not a side show: it is also the character in the mini-games. Whatever a kid puts together, they see again while playing.

Pets

On top of the character itself, every kid can have a small pet by their side — from a tiny bird to a snail. Pets are purely cosmetic, always in their own little motion, and cost 3 magic coins ✨ each in the Pet category of the customizer. They are part of Premium.

Streaks

Doing things regularly builds a streak. Streaks reward persistence rather than single achievements — and they are why kids still check off that one task on the Tuesday they do not feel like it.

What Premium changes

The default pig and everything unlocked with coins belongs to the kid permanently, regardless of Premium.

Premium unlocks every other character — from the farm (cow, chicken) to fantasy (dino, unicorn) —, each with its own exclusive decoration category, plus every pet. If Premium expires, characters and pets go back to their default state and come straight back once it is active again — nothing is deleted.

Quick answers

What is the difference between coins and magic coins?

Normal coins come from completed tasks; kids spend them on the real rewards in your shop. Magic coins ✨ are only for avatar cosmetics. The two are separate so that one does not eat the other.

Does my kid lose their avatar when Premium expires?

No. The default pig keeps everything unlocked with coins. Premium characters, looks and a chosen pet show their default state without an active subscription and come straight back once Premium is active again.

Can I control how many magic coins there are?

Yes. You set the exchange rate from normal coins to magic coins in the settings — that is how you control how attractive the cosmetic route is compared to real rewards.
